My client, a rapidly growing business based in Exeter is looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse and Sales Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fast-paced role where high attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are paramount.  You will be responsible for maintaining stock levels across our distribution points making sure physical stock matches our SAP system.   You will also provide first line support to customer queries, processing orders, and providing sales support to house accounts developing relationships and assisting the growth of these accounts.

Warehouse and Sales Administrator responsibilities include...

Warehouse Admin duties:

  • Work closely with warehousing and haulage partners to ensure stock is collected from our co-packers in a timely manner
  • Reconciliation of third party warehouses, damages, sale and return, and trade shows 

·         Ensure collected finished stocks are recorded and received accurately from production

·         Assist in ensuring fees reconcile to finished goods received

·         Ensure accuracy of stock in all recorded locations

·         Conduct physical stock-takes periodically and reconcile with SAP, investigating any discrepancies, which may be at alternative sites

·         Assist with any queries on deliveries - investigating all shortages, damages, returns, missing stock etc.

·         Ensure all batches reconcile between the warehouse and SAP

Sales Admin duties:  

  • Answering the telephone, processing sales orders, booking deliveries and ensuring all customer orders are delivered
  • Other administrative duties as required

·         Act as the first point of contact to customers, developing relationships and assisting to grow accounts.

·         Setting up new customers and keeping customer information up to date

·         Handling customer complaints, ensuring that that appropriate actions to resolve are undertaken

·         Updating bespoke online portals.

·         Liaise with production team to ensure that customer requirements can be met with current stock levels.

Requirements for the Warehouse and Sales Administrator include:


  • High level of communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Practical problem solver with a creative and innovative attitude

·         Relevant experience in supply chain management, stock control and SAP is desirable but not essential as can be trained

·         Self-motivated and keen to learn with excellent organisational skills

·         Numerate and IT literate, with excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

·         Strong analytical skills
