We are seeking a bright and confident individual with previous office based administration experience for a long term temporary position. This role would potentially suit a graduate or under graduate who has strong administrative skills and experience, a willing and positive approach to work coupled with excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

We anticipate this position to run for up to 3 months, and we are looking for someone who is able to commit to the role for the 3-month term.

Team Administrator (Summer Contract) responsibilities include...

Main purpose of the position: -

To provide ongoing support to a busy team of consultants to ensure that all client and candidate requirements are met. This is a diverse and fast paced role with responsibilities in candidate sourcing and management, marketing, social media, administration and ensuring that Cathedral Appointments maximises all recruitment and related business opportunities.

Duties to include: -

·         Sourcing new candidates across the divisions using a variety of different medias including database searching, social media and networking

  • Conducting telephone pre-registration and screening checks
  • Maintaining relationships with candidates registered on the database to ensure all information is current and up to date
  • Diary management of scheduled calls and interviews with consultants
  • Administrative support such as updating the database and sending interview confirmations
  • Composing engaging and interesting profiles for current vacancies
  • Proactively conducting research on job boards for both potential candidates and new vacancy opportunities, ensuring there is a continuous flow of new candidates and job vacancies coming through to the business

Person specification: -

  • Previous experience within an office based role is essential
  • Able to communicate and build relationships with people at all levels
  • Initiative and first class written and verbal communication skills

·         Excellent planning and organisation skills

·         Creative and able to support with marketing duties as needed

·         Proactive and flexible approach to work


Training/Qualifications: -

  • Excellent IT skills with a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Training will be provided on in-house recruitment software
