My client is looking for a Supply Chain and Logistics Controller to join the team as soon as possible. Based at Head Office in the heart of Devon the successful candidate will be joining one of the leaders in handmade lifestyle/home products.

The Controller will have a varied role, responsible for the management of day to day activities within operations, warehousing and dispatch. Other responsibilities within the role are general warehouse management, logistical customer service and customer delivery management as well as strategic supply chain tasks.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills are required.
  • Previous management experience (preferably within a Supply Chain/Logistics environment).
  • Multi SKU demand and forecasting experience.
  • Strong team working skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure to a quickly changing environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Previous Warehouse Operations experience would be highly beneficial.

This position requires a motivated employee who can work both unsupervised, alone and/or as part of a team. This role will involve some element of travel, visiting the company’s warehouses on a weekly basis as well as visiting key customers/suppliers.
