This is an important and varied Supply Chain role, where you will be responsible aspects of and working alongside Production, Purchasing and Distribution. This position is an initial 12-month maternity cover contract.

Main responsibilities include:


  • Generate sales forecasts and develop production plans accordingly to ensure appropriate stock cover
  • Fully investigate any product complaints

·         Manage bills of materials and process production orders on SAP


  • Manage relationships with suppliers

·         Negotiate with new suppliers

·         Order all materials required for production and ensure they are received on time and in full


  • Work closely with our warehousing and haulage partners to ensure stock is received in full from production and to maintain accurate stock reports
  • Manage all export orders, managing our relationships with freight forwarders, arranging logistics and generating any export documentation required for the country of delivery.

·         Conduct physical stock takes periodically with SAP, investigating any discrepancies

Required skills and experience:

Relevant experience in supply chain management and stock control

Qualifications in the following subjects would be desirable: Procurement & Supply Chain/Business/Mathematics/Food Technology

Self-motivated and keen to learn with excellent organisational skills

Numerate and IT literate, with excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Demonstrable strong analytical approach

Commercially aware and sales-focussed with good people skills.

Experience of SAP Business One or other ERP systems
