Cathedral Appointments are currently seeking a Service Manager to join a well-established and successful family run business based on the outskirts of Exeter.

The main key skills for the Service Manager will be organisational skills, leadership qualities, and customer handling, as well as being self-motivated.

Service Manager responsibilities include...

Main Job Responsibilities:

 - Taking workshop bookings, both external and internal.

- Managing a small team of Service Engineers.

- Scheduling all works to meet service requirements.

- Organising the daily workshop activity.

- Providing technical advice to customers.

- Upselling company products and services.

- Submitting and keeping track of Warranty Claims (Full training provided).

Service Manager requirements include...

Required Skills and Experience:

- Have an excellent manner with customers and great leadership skills.

- Previous experience of scheduling servicing works.

- Previous mechanics/engineering experience would be highly beneficial.

- Ability to interact with a range of customers.

- Be highly motivated and able to run a team of engineers. - Be able to adapt to different, rapidly changing situations.
