Senior Administrator required by our client who are currently going through a period of change. This position is required initially for a period of 3 months to support the HR Manager in providing a supportive HR function across various sites across the Devon region. As the HR Manager is often field based, this position is integral in supporting the HR function from an administrative perspective and the successful candidate needs to be able to think on their feet and understand the daily mechanics that can be involved in this busy function.

Day to day responsibilities for the Senior Administrator will include: -

  • Organising meetings for disciplinaries, complaints and grievances.
  • Providing full support in confidential meetings, including note taking.
  • Composing correspondence and reports from detailed notes
  • Arranging interviews and sending out confirmations.
  • Collating reports and information internally to assess current working practices.
  • Updating and maintaining employee records
  • Finding answers and resolving issues under your own initiative, researching or resourcing the information you need 

Senior Administrator- 3 month temporary contract requirements include...

The successful candidate will offer the following skills and experience: -

  • A strong senior level administrative or PA background where you have had to provide key support to a Senior Manager
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise your own workload.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office to include an intermediate level of Excel
  • Good attention to detail, meticulous work and detail conscious
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels, able to show empathy
  • Confidential and discreet, able to deal with often sensitive information

This is a demanding and hugely varied role that requires a highly experienced administrator to adapt quickly make a positive impact in the team. The successful candidate will come from a strong administrative or support background or may perhaps have been working at a more senior level in HR, Office Management or Operations.

You must be available to start this role in May and be able to commit to 3 months.
