Our client a well-established independent business based in Exeter within the life insurance market. Committed to providing customers with the most cost effective route to buy life assurance. Due to further expansion in their business. Are now looking for a Sales Team Manager to join the team with the ability to lead the team forward, and to continue to exceed their clients expectations

Sales Team Manager responsibilities include...

Purpose:

Being a point of contact for a team of between 8-10 colleagues, you will help ensure that all Insurance applications are managed in an effective, timely and cost effective manner and lead your team by example.

Role:

  • Ensure KPI targets and service standards are met and exceeded within the team and department
  • Review Adhere to compliance measures i.e. TCF/DPA/Complaints procedure etc.
  • To coach, develop and motivate staff by providing the skills and knowledge to perform their job, together with opportunities for skills expansion and career development
  • Prioritise and distribute work throughout the team and monitor to completion.
  • To make sure all HR policies, procedures and appraisals are maintained and adhered to.
  • To manage distribution of internal and external correspondence on a daily basis
  • To build an environment which supports the spirit of teamwork, where staff are committed, loyal and take pride working for the company
  • To keep updated with regulatory changes that the office will need to implement or change.
  • Ensure Advisory staff complete tasks when required, such as yearly exams
  • Complete, or aim to progress personal qualifications within CII exam framework


Sales Team Manager requirements include...

The candidate:

  • Experience gained from the insurance sector would be an advantage - but applications from the financial services/pensions/ strong customer service/focused individuals, combined with team leader/supervisory experience will also be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Competent level of ability in Word, Excel and in house IT packages

Benefits

Monday - Friday - core hours 9am -5.30pm - 5pm Friday finish

22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays and shutdown over Christmas
