Cathedral Appointments are seeking a proactive, organised, and customer focused sales support administrator to join a well-established business based in Exeter. The main purpose of the role is to provide fast, efficient, and accurate administrative support within a sales team. The successful candidate will be assist with communications with the company’s clients, prospects, and partners on behalf of the Sales Consultant and Account Managers. This is a varied role that would suit applicants with administration or customer service backgrounds. Applications from recent graduates are welcomes. 

Sales Support Administrator responsibilities include...

  • Generating customer quotations and managing sales orders
  • Managing purchasing, stock control, and deliveries
  • Preparing and running reports for customers
  • Meeting clients in a warm and professional manner
  • Answering and responding to telephone calls
  • Working closely with the company Finance and Technical departments to resolve issues and queries
  • Attending and contributing to meetings 

Sales Support Administrator requirements include...

  • Excellent telephone manner and written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to effective organise and prioritise workload
  • Ability to work independently and use one’s initiative
  • A smart and professional appearance
  • A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to quickly learn and have a logical, methodological approach to work
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook

You should be confident, friendly and driven with excellent interpersonal skills. Good IT skills are essential along with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
