Our client is seeking a driven and confident sales support administrator to join a leading company in their field on a full-time basis in Exeter. The main purpose of the role is to support the Business Development Manager on various sales and business administrative tasks. 

Sales Support Administrator responsibilities include...

  • To provide admin support to the Business Development Manager in order to help increase productivity, help achieve sales targets and ensure completion dates are met.
  • Following up and helping to manage marketing campaigns
  • Managing the Business Development Manager’s diary: helping them to manage their time effectively and making development appointments
  • Identifying any potential sales opportunities and making appointments for the Business Development Manager 
  • Acting as the second point of contact for the customer if the Business Development Manager is not available
  • Writing bids and tender documents
  • Carrying out general administrative duties as required

Candidates should be ambitious, outgoing, and driven. Experience working within a similar role would be beneficial.

  • Excellent communication and organisation skills with the ability to develop strong customer relationships and manage a sales territory
  • A motivated individual who is driven to achieve new business targets
  • Ability to remain calm and perform under pressure
  • A driven a proactive nature, with proven experience of working to tight deadlines,
  • Ability to work relatively autonomously and manage own workload, with extensive admin experience
  • Strong IT skills
  • Bid writing and Tender submission experience (preferred but not essential)
