This is a busy and varied role providing support to the Sales, Marketing and Production team. This is a full-time role but there can be flexibility for reduced hours, as long as core hours are achieved. With sister companies and distributors around the world, no two days will ever be the same in this constantly changing and evolving industry. You will be responsible for responding to current and prospective customer requirements by processing orders, invoices, sales contracts and arranging logistics.

Sales and Export Administrator responsibilities include...

Core duties and responsibilities will include: -

  • Liaise with and support International colleagues on a regular basis via telephone and email
  • Liaise with and support the Production team
  • Inputting data accurately and update company operating system accordingly
  • Receiving and processing orders and issuing sales invoices
  • Organising shipping and logistics Internationally (import/export) for large volume orders
  • Arrange couriers/freight forwarders/transporters and organise export paperwork as required
  • Raising sales and purchase orders, Invoicing, credit notes
  • Maintaining goods in & goods out documentation

Sales and Export Administrator requirements include...

The successful candidate will offer the following skills and experience: -

  • Excellent communication skills are essential with a good telephone manner
  • A warm, friendly personality with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Great organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills within Microsoft, in particular with Excel
  • MRP experience desirable but not essential
  • You will be solution orientated and a self-starter
  • Accurate keyboard skills, able to process and enter data ensuring absolute accuracy
  • Comfortable working with data and detailed record keeping
  • Previous experience working in import/export essential
  • Experience of dealing with commodity codes/duty and VAT would be useful
