My client works with businesses and organisations throughout the South West supplying and supporting telecommunication services and systems. As part of their expansion plans we looking for a Sales Account Manager to further sales, develop specific business sectors, promote the company via social media, and provide account support.

This role requires excellent communication skills, with the ideal candidate combining a passion to deliver outstanding customer service with a desire to hit sales targets and earn significant commission. This is primarily a sales role, working out of our Newton Abbot offices and covering the West Country.

There is fantastic scope to develop this role into a field sales position, and it offers excellent progression and development for the right person.

Full training will be provided, together with a car allowance, commission, and an excellent working environment.

Sales Account Manager requirements include...

Qualifications/Education

·         Ideally a graduate in a Business or Marketing related degree

·         Minimum education standard of A2 level coupled with at least 2 years’ experience

 

Experience required

·         Hands on practical experience of working in a team sales environment

·         Experience in a client facing role

·         Experience of using CRM software systems

 

Personal Skills Highly motivated individual

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (including good knowledge and use of English language and grammar)

·         Good time management skills

·         Practical experience in dealing with customers

·         Positive attitude to work

·         Excellent presentation skills

·         Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

 

Skills

·         Sound skills in budgeting

·         Creative flair and a passion for customer support

·         Understanding and working to clients brief

·         Other skills in managing and prioritising multiple enquiries and customer issues

 

Knowledge

·         Basic understanding of business to business sales and marketing

·         Commercial awareness and understanding of business sector development

·         Good understanding of the business telecommunications sector

 

Personal Qualities Must have a ‘can do’ attitude with good attention to detail

·         Good interpersonal skills: excellent command of English language both written and spoken to communicate complex concepts effectively

·         Team player who has the ability to lead, and work as a fully contributing member of a team
