The Revenue Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the Revenue Team and for ensuring the integrity of IRESS revenue data and advisor payaway calculations.

The Revenue Accounting Manager will ensure that all revenue is reconciled and recorded correctly and that the revenue records are appropriate to allow accurate accounting and FCA reporting.

The post-holder is also responsible for ensuring that consultant payaway and variable pay calculations are accurate.

The Revenue Accounting Manager will ensure that the revenue and consultant payaway processes are robust and fully documented. The role holder will also actively identify improvements to system and processes to deliver continuous improvement of quality and extractability of data.

Sets and achieves challenging goals, whilst maintaining high quality standards. Identifies and responds early to risks. Takes a proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem solving.

Revenue Manager - Financial Services requirements include...

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good understanding of the financial services sector and of financial products and revenue streams (desirable)
  • Hold a certificate in Financial Planning as a minimum and either hold a Diploma in Financial Planning is desireable
  • Understanding of FCA revenue reporting requirements (desirable).
  • Experience of financial services back office software (desirable).
  • Experience of working in a fast moving environment (essential).
  • Excellent excel and data manipulation skills (essential)
