Cathedral Appointments are currently recruiting for a Residential Conveyancing Lawyer to join our client’s well-established Property team in their Plymstock office. This would be a great position for a junior lawyer  who has some Property experience and is looking to specialise within Residential Conveyancing in the local area.

Residential Conveyancing Lawyer (NQ to 2 years’ PQE) responsibilities include...

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

·         Directly handling and progressing residential conveyancing matters and transactions, applying legal knowledge to produce solutions which meet clients' needs and address their personal circumstances;

·         Establishing and maintaining effective and professional relationships with clients

·         Taking part in business development activities, promoting both yourself and the firm to the highest degree

·         Maintaining the level of competence and legal knowledge needed to practice effectively, taking into account changes in your role and/or practice context and developments in the law

·         Attending training as and when required 

Residential Conveyancing Lawyer (NQ to 2 years’ PQE) requirements include...

Background/Skills: 

·         You will be either a NQ Solicitor, NQ Legal Executive or a junior Conveyancer looking to progress within Residential Conveyancing. Some experience within Property would be desirable

·         Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written and good IT skills
