Regional Fundraising Manager – Great opportunity to work for a recognised national charity who offer a lifetime of support to individuals and families either directly or through their partner delivery charities. The role of Regional Fundraising Manager will be responsible for engaging with a wide variety of audiences with a focus on the initiation, planning and execution of effective fundraising within the South West region and to encourage support to regional fundraising.

Day to day responsibilities will include: -

  • Working in partnership with the national fundraising teams you will organise and run fundraising events compliant with the Institute of Fundraising Codes.
  • Seek out new opportunities through community engagement and corporate partners.
  • Liaise closely with the Volunteer Committee Chairmen and members with regards to future events.
  • Represent the charity within local government and both public and private employers.
  • To assist with meeting the annual fundraising targets for the region, ensuring that expenditure is kept within budget.

The successful Regional Fundraising Manager will offer the following skills and experience: -

  • Previous experience of community fundraising and running large scale events
  • Connectivity into the South West’s political, administrative, public and private organisations is a distinct advantage
  • The ability to plan and execute your own workload and work on your own initiative.
  • Confident and well-developed communication skills, with the ability to liaise with people from all walks of life
  • Full clean driving licence is essential

The role of Regional Fundraising Manager is a rare opportunity to join a worthwhile charity and requires someone who is self-motivated and committed to making a difference to peoples lives. It is worth noting that initially this is a fixed contract for 2 years.
