Recruitment Resourcer – IT Division

We are looking for a bright, ambitious graduate to join our team on a permanent basis. It’s an exciting time to be joining Cathedral Appointments – established in 1988, we are currently celebrating our 30th year of successful recruiting!

 As a Recruitment Resourcer on the IT Division, your primary purpose is to source candidates through a variety of platforms and nurture relationships with candidates from the beginning to end of the recruitment process.

Progression is key within this role – the successful candidate will have a clear progression plan, with the aim to step up to a Consultant level further down the line. This position will be a learning curve, but you will have fun in the process! We are a supportive office where success is rewarded, and talent is nurtured.

Recruitment Resourcer – IT Division responsibilities include...

  • Resource suitable candidates for IT roles, making use of a number of CV databases, LinkedIn Recruiter and thinking outside the box!
  • Make proactive approaches and act as the first point of contact for any communication
  • Draft creative job adverts
  • Utilising social media to promote exciting opportunities to potential candidates as well as the wider business
  • Keep our in-house system up to date and provide administrative support to the IT team
  • Conducting telephone pre-registration and screening checks
  • Sifting CV’s and skill matching candidates to vacancies
  • Diary management of scheduled calls and interviews with consultants
  • Assisting with the marketing of candidates and keeping clients updated with relevant industry news and availability of suitable candidates

  • Personable with the ability to chat to anyone!
  • A recent graduate looking to build a career and progress within an established company
  • IT-savvy
  • Experienced using social media including Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook
  • Able to write creative and engaging content
  • Keen to learn and not easily phased by taking on a new challenge!
  • Highly organised with strong communication skills

Ideally, you will have knowledge of tech/IT, however we are keen to consider individuals who are interested in technology and the IT industry and are enthusiastic to learn. This is a busy and successful division, with real opportunities for the right person!
