Recruitment Resourcer and Consultant (trainee)

We are growing! As a result of our continued success, Cathedral Appointments are expanding the team, and we have an opportunity for a rising star to join us at an entry level and learn our industry. Starting as a resourcer and administrator, we will support, coach, train and develop you through all aspects of the service we provide to our candidates and clients. You will be able to gain experience as you learn, gradually progressing into a more consultative role during your first year.

You will be responsible for managing your own workload, providing busy and varied administrative support to a small team of consultants. As your knowledge and confidence increases, you will begin resourcing candidates, developing your own candidate base and ultimately managing your own vacancies and clients.

Recruitment Resourcer and Consultant (trainee) responsibilities include...

Recruitment resourcer duties: -

  • Sourcing new candidates across the divisions using a variety of different medias including database searching, social media and networking
  • Conducting telephone pre-registration and screening checks
  • Conduct candidate searches on the database for specific vacancies
  • Sifting CV’s and skill matching candidates to vacancies
  • Diary management of scheduled calls and interviews with consultants
  • Assisting with the marketing of candidates, ensuring clients are kept updated on available applicants suitable for their business
  • Administrative support such as updating the database and sending interview confirmations

 

Marketing administration duties: -

  • Updating social media channels such as Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook
  • Preparing marketing materials including newsletter and e-shots
  • Creating engaging and appealing job adverts from detailed role profiles


Consultant responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop existing and new client relationships
  • Successfully identify talent for vacancies using traditional and search methods
  • Interview/assess suitable applicants through telephone and face to face interviewing techniques
  • Effectively use social media to source candidates and prospect for new businesses
  • Visit new and existing clients to maintain strong working relationships
  • Cross-sell other recruitment divisions and services to existing clients
  • To attend a range of networking events in order to build contacts and raise company profile

Our industry is fast paced, fun and challenging. No two days are the same, and the person we are looking for will have the mental agility and strength of character to cheerfully approach those challenges on a daily basis. You will happily take on any tasks that need doing, and be able to keep all those plates spinning even when deadlines are looming. A flexible, positive and team orientated attitude are a must! 

 

Person specification: -

  • Strong work ethic, ambitious with the drive and passion to develop a career within recruitment
  • A confident communicator, able to build relationships with people at all levels
  • Bags of initiative with excellent planning and organisation skills
  • First class writing skills, creative and able to support with marketing duties
  • Proactive and flexible approach to work, hands on and willing approach
  • Full driving license and access to transport
