As a result of our continued growth, we have created this brand new role which will work very closely with our team of specialist recruiters.

Due to continued growth Cathedral Appointments have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Administrator to join our long standing Exeter based team on a permanent basis. This is a diverse and fast paced role with responsibilities in candidate sourcing and management, marketing, social media, administration 

Recruitment Administrator responsibilities include...

Recruitment related duties include:

  • Sourcing new candidates across the divisions using a variety of different medias including database searching, social media and networking
  • Conducting telephone pre-registration and screening checks
  • Sifting CV’s and skill matching candidates to vacancies
  • Diary management of scheduled calls and interviews with consultants
  • Assisting with the marketing of candidates, ensuring clients are kept updated on available applicants suitable for their business
  • Administrative support such as updating the database and sending interview confirmations
  • Updating social media channels such as Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook
  • Preparing marketing materials including newsletter and e-shots, both to clients and candidates
  • Writing adverts for vacancies
  • Competitor analysis
  • Proactively conducting research on job boards for both potential candidates and new vacancy opportunities, ensuring there is a continuous flow of new candidates and job vacancies coming through to the business

What are we looking for?

  • Drive and passion to develop a career within recruitment
  • Previous experience within a similar role would be advantageous however, candidates with a strong customer service/administrative background who are commercially astute will also be considered
  • Experienced in building relationships with people at all levels
  • Excellent IT skills with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft office
  • First class written and verbal communications skills
  • Social media experience
