Receptionist

Our client, a successful financial services provider based in Taunton, are looking for a professional, friendly and helpful Receptionist to join their team. This is a varied role that will involve a mix of both administrative and secretarial duties. Ideally you will already have office experience in a professional or high-quality customer service environment.  

Receptionist responsibilities include...

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet all clients, visitors and staff entering the reception area 
  • Provide administration and secretarial support (digital dictation and copy typing) including preparing client letters and invoices, set up new clients, filing, scheduling appointments, organising meetings and forwarding faxes
  • Ensure the reception area and meeting rooms are kept clean and tidy
  • Open and sort all incoming and outgoing mail 
  • Receive and return client records 

Receptionist requirements include...

Requirements:

  • Previous reception or telephonist experience
  • Good IT Skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Good planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Close attention to detail
  • Ability to use own initiative and a good team player
