Receptionist responsibilities include...

  • Ensuring that all telephone calls are responded to using an excellent telephone manner, and delivering accurate telephone messages to the relevant person in a timely manner
  • Greeting clients and receiving deliveries
  • Organising meeting room bookings and seminars, ensuring that catering and presentational facilities are fully arranged. Clearing meeting rooms after use
  • Setting up telephone and conference calls
  • Ensuring the reception area looks smart and professional
  • Arranging taxi services for visitors and colleagues

Applicants should have a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and should be confident and competent in using their own initiative.

Key Skills:

  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to be flexible to operate both autonomously and with minimal supervision 
  • A self-starter with a demonstrable desire to learn new or upgrade their IT skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, and ability to use a methodological and logical approach
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A presentable individual with a smart and tidy appearance
  • Basic IT competency, knowledge of Microsoft Office, and a good typing speed
