Cathedral Appointments in is looking for a full-time Purchase Ledger Co-ordinator to join our client’s Finance Team during an exciting time of growth for this friendly and successful education training company. The requirements for this role will be varied and you will report directly to the Finance and Administration Manager.

Purchase Ledger Co-ordinator responsibilities include...

·         All aspects of Purchase Ledger including expense claims

·         Bank reconciliation and nominal ledger transaction

·         Preparation of credit card and petty cash returns

·         Preparing weekly BACs payment runs

·         Balance sheet reconciliations

·         Assisting with the supplier approval process and reconciling supplier accounts

·         Contributing to year end

·         Dealing with ad-hoc queries 

Purchase Ledger Co-ordinator requirements include...

·         Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

·         Highly numerate and strong IT skills, particularly Excel and Word

·         Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and be a good team player

·         Ability to build good relationships with staff and external suppliers

·         Good attention to detail

·         Able to prioritise and work well under pressure

The successful candidate will have relevant experience in an accounting environment and should also hold an appropriate accounting qualification.
