Fantastic Purchase Ledger Clerk opportunity working for a service provider near Totnes. The aim of this role is to ensure effective, efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions.

Purchase Ledger Clerk responsibilities include...

  • Input invoices on to the purchase ledger using Sage
  • To monitor and then highlight any trends and duplications
  • To maintain the unmatched invoice register
  • Ensure that all invoices are dealt with in a reasonable time scale
  • To regularly review of outstanding purchase orders and invoices
  • To process staff expenses
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required, for example assisting with payroll checks and HR/Training requirements

Purchase Ledger Clerk requirements include...

  • Previous experience of working in a Purchase Ledger role
  • Sage experience and an understanding of nominal codes
  • AAT qualification is desirable
  • A team player
  • Accurate with a high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
