Publications and Content Editor

Cathedral Appointments are seeking a Publications and Content Editor for our high-growth client based in Newton Abbot. The purpose of this role is to produce high quality content for a dynamic business. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with contributors, designers and industry experts.

Publications and Content Editor responsibilities include...

  • Write, edit and proofread resources, including manuals, booklets and presentation slides
  • Lay out and format documents using Company templates and ensure documents represent the brand
  • Create high quality, visually appealing presentation slides in accordance with brand guidelines
  • Work to deadlines and ensure all materials are completed and printed when needed
  • Manage online document management systems, such as SharePoint (Office 365)
  • Liaise with experts for technical content
  • Liaise with external designers

Publications and Content Editor requirements include...

  • Experience writing for a variety of platforms
  • Excellent writing skills, with experience adapting writing style to suit changing audiences
  • Proven experience copy-editing and proof-reading
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to create visually appealing materials whilst maintaining uniformity for brand purposes
  • An organised approach to work, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Adobe InDesign
