Cathedral Appointments are seeking a bright and experienced creative administrator to join a rapidly growing business in Newton Abbot. The main purpose of the role is to oversee and assist with Research & Development projects and publications for the business. This is a varied and busy role, best suited to a dynamic and focused individual. 

Publications Administrator responsibilities include...

  • Editing and copywriting all the business’s resources
  • Designing and editing content and layout of materials to adhere to the company Brand guidelines
  • Managing online document management systems
  • Ensuring that all materials are produced, printed, and available to deadlines
  • Overseeing course development plans
  • Contributing to the development and revision of departmental processes
  • Maintaining and updating a library of resources

Publications Administrator requirements include...

  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills with the ability to:
    • Develop sophisticated editing skills
    • Project manage
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy and precision
  • Sounds MS Office skills, particularly Word and PowerPoint
  • A methodological and organised approach to work, with the ability to work on one’s own initiative, work as part of a team, and multi-task

Applicants who have knowledge of Adobe InDesign, or who have experience in a training environment would be ideal, however, this is not essential. Applicants who have a degree in a relevant field are welcomed.
