A rare opportunity for an experienced administrator to join a local not-for-profit social enterprise organisation. You will predominantly be office based and tasked with carrying out administrative duties across a range of projects, supporting the marketing and communication activity and working with colleagues, external partners, commissioners and stakeholders as required, to ensure the smooth running of the team and associated projects. 

Project Administrative Assistant responsibilities include...

Main duties will include: -

  • To liaise with project managers and team leaders to ensure that projects are being delivered as required and all associated administrative tasks
  • To ensure that all necessary data is captured and databases are efficiently maintained
  • To plan and attend all meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Regular reporting
  • Supporting the delivery targets associated with the work of the team

Project Administrative Assistant requirements include...

The successful candidate will offer the following skills and experience: -

  • Proven experience as an office administrator/office assistant
  • Proven project administration
  • Experience supporting marketing/communications activity
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Experience of working across and co-ordinating networks and partnerships
  • Experience of administrative duties for projects that support young people/work experience in secondary education is highly desirable
  • Ability to travel on occasion

This is a busy and varied role in which candidates will need excellent organisational and communication skills (including writing ability). You should be a strong team player with the ability to use ICT effectively. Flexibility and willingness to work outside normal working hours will be required on occasion to fulfil duties of this post.

This is fixed term contract for 12 months and is available immediately.
