Programme Administrative Assistant

The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to our client’s South West initiative which is heavily based around event organising.

Programme Administrative Assistant responsibilities include...

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for specific programmes across the South West
  • Contribute to the success of the initiative by assisting with event planning and coordination
  • Support the generation of income and sales sponsorship for the initiative
  • Provide general administrative support to the Coordinator
  • Plan and attend all meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Maintain the database and ensure that all the captured data is effectively stored
  • Run daily reports from the system and assist in the generation of detailed reports
  • Use a variety of communication channels to gain maximum exposure for the initiative
  • Work with partners and stakeholders across the South West to ensure the initiative captures relevant audience

Programme Administrative Assistant requirements include...

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an office administrative/office assistant position
  • Proven project and event experience
  • Able to work to deadlines, understanding of preparing budgets, bids and business plans
  • Experience of working across and co-ordinating networks and partnerships
  • Experience of administrative duties for large scale events for young people is highly desirable
  • Ability to travel on occasion
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office
