My client is based in South Devon and are leaders in their field. Production Supervisor /Line Manager is required to manage a team within a high volume environment. You will be fully responsible for supervising the production ensuring that quality is achieved, customer expectations are met and KPI’s are achieved through the effective management of staff, resources and time.

Production Supervisor/Line Manager responsibilities include...

  • You will be expected to maximise employee and equipment performance whilst exceeding the company’s service level agreements.
  • You will manage all day to day people performance, as well as identifying key skills and further training opportunities for individuals.
  • Oversee all Health & Safety of the department.
  • Day to day Employee management and control including time and attendance, disciplinary and grievance.
  • Monitor and develop daily and weekly KPI’s in line with company objectives.
  • Facilitating and overseeing continuous improvement activities both short and long term. This will include problem solving, training, undertaking regular reporting as well as applying basic lean processes.

  • You must have a proven track record of working within a manufacturing industry where you have man managed a team and their day to day working schedules.
  • Business awareness and commercial understanding.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Dynamic and motivational approach to work where you are able to lead a team.
  • Use to working with the latest lean techniques.
