Portfolio Manager required for established client bank working alongside a bespoke Investment Team.

The main purpose of this role is to develop, monitor and maintain financial oversight of the department. Taking care of resource management and maintaining stakeholder relationships across the business.

The role would suit someone who has formal experience as a Portfolio Manager or Portfolio Assistant.

Organisational skills will be key with any of the below methodologies and applications would be a bonus: Microsoft Excel, FactX, Pro Quote and Fidessa.

Portfolio Investment Manager responsibilities include...

  • Monitoring client portfolios for performance and stability.
  • Production of portfolio review letters.
  • Supporting the Investment Team and Manager.
  • The Portfolio Manager provides support to Investment Manager to ensure all clients are invested with the clients underlying investment objectives and risk profile.
  • Asset allocation and portfolio re-balancing.
  • Efficient tax planning for clients with ISA and CGT allowances used effectively.
  • Work effectively as a team member and supporting colleagues.
  • Working on all aspects of compliance with HR.
  • Analyse investment oppportunities and discuss viable options with the team.

Portfolio Investment Manager requirements include...

You will ideally have completed level 4 CISI studies. Or be at level 3 with exams to be completed in the next 12 months. Study support will be provided and futher study to level 6 would be the expectation of my client.
