Cathedral Appointments currently have an excellent opportunity for a Personal Injury Case Handler to join our client based in Taunton. 

Personal Injury Case Handler responsibilities include...

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing your own caseload of primarily fast track RTA cases, with some fast track EL/PL
  • Pursuing claims through pre and post-litigation stages, making full use of our client’s case management system
  • To comply with the Directors expectations of time recording and financial targets
  • To work within a team environment Communicating with clients, insurers, expert witnesses and solicitors

Personal Injury Case Handler requirements include...

Essential

  • Previous claimant personal injury case handling experience
  • Portal experience
  • Knowledge of the CPR and litigation procedures
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to use own initiative and work to strict deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly efficient and organised
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Compassion and empathy.

Desirable

  • Previous RTA claimant personal injury case handling experience
  • Good tactical understanding of working in fixed fee environment
