Personal Assistant

Cathedral Appointments are seeking an experienced PA to work closely with the Director of our Wellington-based client. The successful candidate will help the Director make the best use of their time – organising diaries and dealing with administrative tasks efficiently. You will be trusted with important tasks and confidential information that must be handled with discretion.

Personal Assistant responsibilities include...

  • Act as the Director’s first point of contact with people internally and externally
  • Creating and maintaining suitable systems, including data management and filing
  • Arranging travel and accommodation for the Director, and occasionally joining when meetings are local
  • Note-taking during meetings
  • Screening phone calls and handling them when necessary
  • Greeting visitors
  • Managing appointments and maintaining diaries
  • Dealing with incoming post and emails
  • Carrying out research and presenting findings efficiently to the Director
  • Producing documents and reports

Personal Assistant requirements include...

  • Previous experience within a PA role or graduate level education with an interest in becoming a PA
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Analytical in solving tasks
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Positive attitude

This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced PA or an individual interested in getting into such a role, to get first-hand experience in a dynamic environment, supporting a senior member of staff. You will gain exposure to important elements of the business day to day operations and meet stakeholders at all levels.
