People Partner/HR Business Partner – Cathedral Appointments Ltd has been appointed to recruit a People Partner/HRBP for Riverford Organic Farmers.  Based in beautiful Devon, Riverford grow and sell organic veg boxes to around 100,000 customers and employ over 550 staff across a range of sectors.  The role of HRBP is an excellent opportunity to join a values driven business where people really matter and HR plays a key role in the future direction and success of the company.  This is a challenging role, requiring a flexible and adaptable HR generalist who is able to drive the people agenda across all sites. 

People Partner/HRBP responsibilities include...

  • Building management and leadership skills across all sites.
  • Up-skilling and coaching managers on areas of people management, building a culture of nurturing and developing talent.
  • Supporting the HR Director by leading people processes.
  • Supporting the business and managers by ensuring that a focus on organisation structure, job design, talent development, and culture is upheld.
  • Supporting capability development, retention, and succession of on site management teams
  • Managing HR activities, including pay reviews, profit share payments, employee engagement activities, and workplace awards.
  • Support and drive the implementation of key HR projects.
  • Support with complex casework including restructures / TUPE.
  • Assist in developing the human capital of the business and encouraging a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Assist with cultivating a productive and enjoyable environment in which all employees have a sense of common purpose, understanding their contribution, believe in the business, feel rewarded, and see opportunities to develop both the business and themselves.

People Partner/HRBP requirements include...

  • Degree educated and CIPD qualified.
  • Previous HRBP experience gained from a complex multi-site business.
  • Experienced at managing complex Employee Relation cases including TUPE.
  • Demonstrable experience of leading change, value added HR activities and organisational development.
  • Excellent problem solver who is commercially astute
