Payroll and Accounts Clerk opportunity for an company in Exeter at their head office. This role will include a mix of responsibilities including purchase and sales ledger, VAT returns and running the payroll for my client’s employees.

Payroll and Accounts Clerk responsibilities include...

  • To run the payroll function using Payroll Sage 50
  • Posting supplier invoices, credits and payment
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier accounts
  • The administration and processing of all expenses using Sage 50 Accounts
  • Preparation of month end accounts
  • Posting payment to the nominal ledger
  • Posting monthly journals
  • Posting and reconciliation of petty cash, credit card and bank transfers
  • VAT returns

Payroll and Accounts Clerk requirements include...

  • Experience is using Sage 50 accounts and payroll is essential
  • Purchase and Sales ledger experience
  • VAT returns
  • Excellent excel knowledge and skills
  • A finance background
