Payroll administrator opportunity for my client based in Torquay. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this is a full-time post and will provide an efficient service for my client’s employees and payroll clients.

Payroll Administrator responsibilities include...

  • To use Sage payroll to run weekly, monthly and quarterly payrolls
  • Inputting and checking relevant information
  • To ensure AEO deductions are applied accurately
  • Producing PAYE schedules for clients, calculating any deductions
  • To send completed auto-pay payment forms to banks
  • Auto enrolment reconciliations
  • Completing various forms required by HMRC
  • Setting up new PAYE schemes with HMRC
  • Carrying out RTI year-end procedures
  • Providing sound advice to clients where necessary
  • Resolving any queries

Payroll Administrator requirements include...

  • Experience in operating multiple payrolls
  • Experience in using SAGE Payroll or similar
  • Knowledge of CIS and experience of sub-contractors
  • AAT in Payroll Administration or equivalent
  • Strong spreadsheet and word processing skills
