Cathedral Appointments are currently recruiting a Parts Manager for an established, family run automotive company based on the outskirts of Exeter. The Parts Manager will be heading up the Parts department and will be responsible for the processing and organising of parts, ready for both the service department and customers. The Parts Manager will also promote retail sales both online and on site, as well as processing warranty claims when required. 

Parts Manager responsibilities include...

Job Responsibilities:

  • Unload overnight parts deliveries.
  • Ensure the workshop have the parts they require for the day.
  • Keep the parts department organised and well stocked.
  • Order parts as and when required.
  • Promote online sales.
  • Boost on site retail sales.
  • Keep all paperwork and the company system up to date.

Parts Manager requirements include...

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Being comfortable on a variety of computer systems is essential.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Fantastic communication skills are required with both customers and colleagues.
  • Automotive/Parts knowledge is essential.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential.
  • Previous sales/negotiation experience would be highly beneficial. –
  • All candidates MUST have a valid UK Drivers Licence. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Parts Manager to join a fantastic, friendly local team. The client is seeking someone with a positive, can-do attitude and a personable manner. The successful candidate will be provided with main dealer training, as well as onsite training.

Hours of work: Monday-Friday: 8am-6pm (flexibility to these hours may be required during busy times) Saturday: 8am-1pm (rota basis).
