I have a part-time opportunity for a German Speaking Purchase Ledger Clerk. This is a permanent role and is for approximately 20 hours per week. Working in a team of three, this position is working for a well-established client based in Exeter.

Part-Time Purchase Ledger Clerk (German Speaking) responsibilities include...

  • To be accountable for the German office invoices
  • Support for processing of inventory invoices
  • Maintaining organised records and files of purchase ledger invoices
  • All aspects of purchase ledger including, vendor set up, registering invoices, matching to purchase orders, posting and statement reconciliation
  • The processing of rebate and allowance claims from German clients
  • To match claims to agreements
  • Month end procedures including the posting of financial journals, the calculation of accruals and prepayment and other month end support

Part-Time Purchase Ledger Clerk (German Speaking) requirements include...

  • German language ability is essential
  • Experience of working in a Purchase Ledger role
  • Excellent Excel knowledge
  • Good organisational skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a team and independently
