Our client – a leading law firm based in Exeter – are seeking a proactive and competent office assistant to join their business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day organisation and setting up of meeting rooms, reception areas, and catering requirements for the business. 

Part Time Office Assistant responsibilities include...


  • Setting up meeting rooms ensuring that the specific requirements of the organiser are met, and clearing rooms after use
  • Arranging the catering and refreshments for room bookings, and ensuring that catering areas are always kept clean and tidy
  • Ensuring that reception areas are always kept looking smart, professional, and tidy
  • Occasionally covering for meetings outside of core working hours

Working hours are 11:00 – 15:00. 

Part Time Office Assistant requirements include...

Candidates should have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. It is desirable for candidates to have previous office and reception experience.

Experience and qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to use initiative, with a positive and proactive attitude
  • Good attention to detail with a methodological approach
  • Works well autonomously and with minimum supervision
  • Strong customer service skills with a polite and professional manner
  • Tidy and professional
