Our client has a reputation for providing quality training and support to the community and is going to continue their work into the future with an exciting new project that you will play a key role in. You will ideally have experience of working on an EU funded project, be able to work to a high standard and have exceptional organisational skills. You will be the key point of contact for any financial questions and be able to create comprehensive reports for the monthly and quarterly meetings. You will be working 32 hours over 4 days

The responsibilities of the Finance Coordinator are…

  • Monitor, check, control and report on EU finances
  • Ensure that government claims and reports are submitted to deadlines
  • Complete and maintain financial monitoring documents
  • Report, record and reconcile monthly expenditure
  • Ensure that all timesheets are prepared for staff accurately and within a timely manner
  • Completion of analytical review of the EU element of the monthly management accounts
  • Maintain records of financial documentation for audit purposes
  • Organise monthly budgets with the Project Manager
  • Monitor and update profiled spend as required
  • Provision of financial reports and information
  • Establish and monitor financial KPI’s

  • Great communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work independently
  • Confident in making appropriate recommendations
  • Solution focused
  • Ability to work within set guidelines, comprehend and apply rules
  • Strong IT skills particularly Excel and Word
  • Previous experience of European Social Fund process would be an advantage
