Exciting opportunity for a Paraplanner or an experienced Financial Services Administrator working for an established client based in Yelverton. Supporting the company’s Chartered Financial Planner, the successful candidate will be confident and capable in giving advice but also someone who is an experienced administrator. 

Paraplanner/Financial Services Administrator responsibilities include...

  • Supporting the Financial Planner in research and analysis to meet Client needs and objectives
  • Compiling financial planning recommendations and suitability reports
  • Supporting the Financial Planner in preparing Client financial plans and suitability reports
  • Developing and maintaining internal relationships to help maintain business flow and meet agreed targets
  • Managing and reporting technical Management Information
  • Managing the research and analysis of financial products to meet Client requirements
  • Managing the presentation of technical data to the Financial Planner(s)
  • Managing the preparation of Client Financial Plans and Suitability Reports.
  • FCA related and other regulatory issues
  • Any changes to the FCA rules
  • Promoting the profile of the business within the profession and wider communities
  • Continuous professional development to meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs
  • Ensuring that any business conducted is done in a responsible and compliant manner, meeting all legislative requirements, both internally and externally.
  • Preparing and compiling financial analysis data
  • Analysing Client data and preparing cash flow analyses
  • Researching products to support recommendations

Paraplanner/Financial Services Administrator requirements include...

  • Experience of working in an IFA Practice is essential
  • Diploma in Financial Planning (or working towards) is desired
  • Experience of using Intelliflo and select a pension
  • Customer service and administration experience
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of compliance procedures including record keeping requirements
  • Computer literate with a working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Reliable, professional and able to use initiative
  • A keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Efficient, methodical, organised and able to work independently.
  • Polite, helpful and friendly manner. 

This is full-time, permanent position and my client is looking for someone office based only ideally who has either started studying the Diploma in Financial Planning or is looking to.
