Our client is a niche business based on the outskirts of Exeter yet provides products and services across the World. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to the business and an understanding of how it works. As Administrator and PA to the MD, your core responsibilities will include:

PA/Administrator responsibilities include...

  • Acting as first point of contact for the business for all phone, fax, email and mail enquiries including meeting and greeting visitors
  • Travel and accommodation arrangements for employees, interview candidates and Directors
  • Management and coordination of the MD’s workflow including their diary and inbound email correspondence
  • General administration - ordering stationary, typing of correspondence, dealing with any maintenance and facilities issues, and arranging conference calls
  • HR administration – liaison with recruitment agencies, arranging interviews, preparing contracts and other new start information and requesting references
  • Preparation of information for Board meetings, taking minutes and circulation of minutes after meetings

PA/Administrator requirements include...

Candidates should be able to display previous office experience within a varied administrative role as well as a high degree of IT literacy including the Microsoft Office suite. Experience of supporting in a PA capacity would be advantageous but not essential. Candidates must be able to show a real ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to really adapt to working in a small business and undertake any tasks necessary. This role is initially a twelve month contract with potential for permanent for the right candidate.
