Cathedral Appointments are seeking an experienced administrator for an on-line Sales and Logistics Co-ordinator on the outskirts of Exeter. Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor with an excellent reputation and a vast International customer-base. The key objective of this role is to manage and develop the sales administration for the on-line customer across the UK, France and Germany and update them accordingly.

Responsibilities include...

  • Receive, process and manage on-line customer orders, queries and credit requests
  • Effectively support the sales team through seeking out and providing accurate information
  • Liaise and communicate with Marketing team regarding allocated brands
  • Liaise with third party suppliers in view of customer requirements
  • Maintain records and files of work undertaken
  • Advise customers of product availability and updates regarding shipment information
  • Resolve all matters of customer complains quickly and courteously
  • Monitor and develop company systems and procedures for continuous customer service improvement

Customer Service Coordinator requirements include...

  • Previous office based admin experience (min. 2 years), ideally within a commercial environment
  • Personable and friendly with an excellent telephone manner
  • Knowledge of working in a customer service and/or sales environment (ideally B2B)
  • Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Experience working to deadlines
  • A good communicator
  • Possible occasional travel (locally)
