Our client is a niche business based in Newton Abbot who provides a key service to their clients. Currently embarking on a steady period of growth, they are looking to strengthen their team with this key administrative/customer service based role. The successful candidate will be an experienced administrator with strong communication skills and an excellent telephone manner.

Membership Services Assistant responsibilities include...

Responsibilities

• In-bound and outbound communications using a variety of media including phone, forums, newsletters and email 

• Supporting members by building strong relationships and ensuring exceptional customer service 

• Administration, filing and archiving

• Processing feedback and processing reports for commissioners

• Implementing improved processes  

• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date database records 

• Liaising with other teams as needed

Membership Services Assistant requirements include...

Requirements

•First class customer service and relationship building skills 

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal  

• Excellent organisation, administration and time management skills 

• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy 

• Highly computer literate and a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office 

• Familiarity with direct marketing techniques, CRM systems and database management   

• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team  

• Ability to multi-task and have flexibility to move between tasks

• Ability to support member and colleagues in an empathetic and helpful manner

The requirements of the job will be varied, in line with the needs of a dynamic, high growth business.  This is a varied role that would suit applicants with administration or customer service backgrounds.
