Our client is a niche business based in Newton Abbot who provides a key service to their clients. Currently embarking on a steady period of growth, they are looking to strengthen their team with this key administrative/customer service based role. The successful candidate will be an experienced administrator with strong communication skills and an excellent telephone manner.

 

Membership Coordinator responsibilities include...

• In-bound and outbound communications using a variety of media including phone, forums, newsletters and email 

• Participating in and leading on a portfolio of project work 

• Supporting members by building strong relationships and ensuring exceptional customer service 

• Contributing to and developing improved processes and membership services 

• Contributing to and supporting the ongoing development of a comprehensive package of membership benefits; improved methods of communication and engagement with members;the preparation of management reports 

• Managing day to day queries  

• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date database records 

• Liaising with other teams as needed

Membership Coordinator requirements include...

•First class customer service and relationship building skills 

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal  

• Excellent organisation, administration and time management skills 

• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy 

• Highly computer literate and a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office 

• Familiarity with direct marketing techniques, CRM systems and database management   

• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team  

• Ability to multi-task and prioritise as well as the flexibility to move between routine tasks and more complex development projects  

• Ability to critically evaluate activities and contribute to improved processes and member service outcomes  

• Commercial awareness 
 

This is a great opportunity to join the team as a Membership Coordinator and assist with the support and development of the businesses members. This is a fast-paced environment and as such, responsibilities and duties will evolve. The successful candidate should be able to display experience working closely with customers within an account management/administration based role. Strong IT skills are also essential including experience of using social media for business purposes.
