Cathedral Appointments are recruiting for a Materials Coordinator for our established client who are currently going through an exciting expansion.

Materials Coordinator responsibilities include...

Based at the company HQ on the outskirts of Exeter, the Materials Coordinator’s duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Ensure that the companies dispatch transactions are managed in an efficient and effective manner
  • Shipping - daily dispatches using the ERP system.
  • Goods-in responsibility - deal with receipt of parcels and delivery notes in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with couriers on a daily basis.
  • All parts requiring inwards inspection are inspected and dealt with accordingly.
  • Ensure all parts requiring COSHH assessments are marked accordingly.
  • Ensure that stock levels are accurate and that systems are being followed for material transacted in and out of system and stores.
  • Ensure stock is stored in a tidy and ordered manner.
  • Produce production labels, printed manuals plus any other documentation and forms required for production.
  • Maintain a production maintenance schedule. 

Materials Coordinator requirements include...

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience of a Material Co-Ordination or equivalent.
  • Experience of scheduling, stock management and/or materials ordering.
  • Competent within MS Outlook, Excel, Word and other MS office tools.
  • Previous experience working on ERP systems is essential.
  • Numerate and analytical with high attention to detail is essential
  • An effective team player, flexible and willing to assist other team members when required.
