We are proud to be working exclusively with Frobishers for the appointment of their Marketing Manager. This fantastic opportunity is perfect for an individual with a Marketing/ Business related degree/ Professional marketing qualification and experience of working for a consumer branded business. You will have proven experience of working with traditional marketing channels (on and off trade) utilising traditional and digital marketing methods.

The successful candidate will be a naturally creative and self-motivated individual, ideally with experience of managing a team, and someone who is capable of maximising the great potential of this exciting brand.

 

Marketing Manager responsibilities include...

  • Implement a successful marketing strategy that includes traditional, digital and social media activity to deliver brand growth
  • Be the Frobisher brand custodian ensuring that every marketing activity/communication has the look and feel, tone of voice and positioning of the brand
  • Management of the marketing budget – plan, budget and monitor all marketing and promotional spend on the brand to maximise profitability
  • Research and understand consumer behaviour and loyalty in order to develop innovative and engaging marketing campaigns
  • Plan, track and analyse marketing campaigns ensuring deadlines and budgets are achieved
  • Implement a digital marketing strategy (social media presence, CRM campaigns as well as branded website development)
  • Monitor market and product trends, recommend any new innovation opportunities
  • Undertake in depth research of Frobisher products and gain an understanding of competitors (e.g. focus groups, data management including customer database)
  • Management of PR agency (managing external supplier)
  • Manage all brand advertising and promotional activity
  • Manage all related trade bodies
  • Organise the purchasing and production of ready-to-use marketing materials
  • Organise and implement trade shows and consumer events
  • Manage sponsorship deals
  • Direct management (incl. training and development) of managing trade marketing executive

Marketing Manager requirements include...

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

·         Previous experience of marketing management across the full marketing mix gained within a B2C / Retail / Trade / FMCG / Brand environment

·         A degree or post graduate qualification in marketing or business

·         Successful track record of end to end campaign management

·         Highly commercial current digital skills and strong social media expertise

·         Self-motivated, self-disciplined and resilient

·         Conscientious and hardworking

·         Great team working and team management skills with the ability to communicate at all levels

·         Performance driven with the ability to work under pressure

Desirable 

·         Knowledge of Google Analytics
