Cathedral Appointments is looking for a highly organised Marketing Executive with a ‘can do’ attitude to join our client based in Exeter. This role will be offered on a 9 or 12-month contract basis, subject to the start date of the successful candidate, and will be flexible hours up to full time. Our client is an ambitious company who are in the process of going through an exciting rebrand which will be launched this summer. As the Marketing Executive you will be working alongside the Brand Manager and the Sales and Marketing Director to manage various marketing activities including campaigns, events and trade shows.

  • Project manage third party suppliers through the rebranding process
  • Support the sales team with B2B marketing activities including advertising, promotions and presentations
  • Coordinate UK and international trade shows and exhibitions
  • Generate and update content for the company’s website and social media platforms
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis, as well as reporting on sector trends and consumer behaviours
  • Assist the Brand Manager with new product development from concept to launch

  • A creative thinker
  • Good written English, excellent command of the English language
  • A quick learner with a positive attitude, helpful and willing
  • Excellent organisational skills, able to prioritise and maintain accuracy under pressure
  • Previous experience in a marketing role would be desirable, particularly skills or experience in copywriting, InDesign, Graphic Design and Digital Marketing.

The role of Marketing Executive is a fantastic opportunity to join a small and friendly company who are rapidly growing. The successful candidate will have great communication skills, be able to manage various projects on a day to day basis and enjoy the challenges that come with working for a growing company.

The working hours will be part time to begin, however there may be a need for increased hours on occasions or as the contract progresses, so a degree of flexibility is ideally sought in potential candidates.
