An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and focused marketing assistant to join a successful business near Exeter. The main purpose of the role is to assist with the effective coordination and communication of brand campaigns for the company. The successful canadine will be a multi-skilled representative of the Marketing Department, responding to requests and queries from Customers, Suppliers and internal departments and proactively supporting the Marketing Team to complete projects and work load. This is a busy and varied role, ideally suited to an individual with experience working within a marketing role who wishes to develop their career in marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinating and delivering a comprehensive events plan for the Company, ensuing these are timely and within budget: supporting Brand Ambassadors and working with the Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Executives to develop and implement Marketing campaigns and events
  • Planning and delivering brand activity for the company brands.
  • Communicate brand campaigns and events internally to ensure all colleagues have an up to date knowledge of current promotions and events.
  • Completing general administrative duties as within the Marketing Department such as mail merge, answering telephone queries, letter writing etc.
  • Oversee the production and design of marketing materials and sales literature to ensure a high-quality end product for two company brands and all events.
  • Oversee copy-right disclaimer forms for images, passing requests to relevant members of the Marketing team
  • Source POS materials and seasonal gifts for customers as required, and ensure supplier brochure stocks are managed and utilised effectively
  • Conduct market research in order to identify market requirements for current and future campaigns and events.
  • Undertake continuous analysis of the market trends and competitor activity to stay abreast of the competition.
  • Write editorials and press releases for online and offline media to promote the company’s products and offering.
  • Keep up to date with new web-based marketing, website designs and features, in order to feed back to the team where appropriate.
  • Respond to and assist with resolving any Marketing related queries or support requirements from Business Development or other internal teams.

Marketing Administrator requirements include...

Candidates must be able to display previous experience within administration and marketing roles along with a good working knowledge of social media and excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The ability to multi task and manage your time effectively are essential in this role as this is an exciting and challenging role within a busy marketing department. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Candidates must also be able to marshal resources (people, funding, material, support) to get things done, orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal, use resources effectively and efficiently, and arrange information and files in a useful manner.
