The purpose of this role is to manage the day to day delivery of client requirements to a high standard through effective planning and coordinating. You will focus on client account management for a range of data campaigns, acting as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are fully informed at all times. This is a fantastic operational role within a well-respected local business where the successful candidate will be given responsibility from day one.

Responsibilities of the Marketing Account Manager:

  • Act as the operational contact for both clients and internal stakeholders
  • Work in partnership with clients, keeping them fully informed at all stages of campaign activity
  • Take full ownership of all client requirements, including receiving and understanding the brief, scheduling work through the relevant departments and providing support to production teams
  • Ensuring a high standard of quality
  • Take part in client meetings and appraisals when required
  • Ensure that all queries are answered in a timely fashion
  • Proactively identify business development opportunities
  • Create and maintain records in accordance with company policy

Requirements of the Marketing Account Manager:

  • Previous experience of account management, ideally within an agency
  • An exemplary customer service manner
  • Excellent communication skills in person, over the phone and via email
  • Ability to manage a large workload with multiple projects at one time
  • Proven ability to seek out and act on new opportunities
  • An open, honest and transparent attitude
  • Energetic and enthusiastic, career focused and highly professional
  • Experience working in a digital, creative OR marketing environment is highly advantageous
