A Taunton-based Law Firm are seeking a customer-focused legal administrator to join their firm. The role involves receiving legal telephone enquiries from the public, taking notes regarding their legal requirements, and filtering their requests to the relevant departments and people within the firm. The ideal candidate will have previous office and customer service experience and will be an excellent communicator. 

Legal Administrator responsibilities include...

  • First point of contact for new legal enquires
  • Responsible for appropriately filtering customer enquiries to the relevant legal department
  • Taking accurate notes from customer enquiries
  • Presenting the firm in a positive light to promote business Carrying out general office duties as required 

Legal Administrator requirements include...

Candidates should have experience working within customer service or office environments. Experience of working within a professional services environment or for a help line is desirable, but is not a requirement.

  • Able to converse with individuals at all levels: exceptional customer service skills
  • Able to accurately dissect and understand sometimes complex information
  • Able to accurately record notes and distribute to the appropriate departments  
  • Excellent telephone manner and a confident communicator
  • Good IT skills including MS Office Suite
