An excellent opportunity to join a team of HR Professionals as Learning and Development Advisor for the site. Our client is based on the outskirts of Exeter and are looking for an experienced Learning and Development expert to design and deliver a broad range of programmes to a high calibre and varied workforce.  Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager you will assist in all aspects of the Learning & Development needs relating to the expertise of the facility. Key to this is supporting the firms learning culture and assist in the development of in-house talent. 

Learning & Development Advisor responsibilities include...

Day to day responsibilities will include: -

  • Conducting 1:1 post-review development conversations with Managers and individuals.
  • Working with department to commission professional development workshops and overall blended learning across the firm.
  • Assist the HR team in ensuring consistent and best practice learning delivery, identifying development needs across all levels.
  • Plan, design and deliver and evaluate skills training courses, seminars and online materials including the writing of in-house training manuals.

The successful candidate will offer the following skills and experience:

  • Educated to Graduate/CIPD level.
  • Experience of working within a similar role, ideally within a professional services environment, where you have provided a comprehensive learning and development function across a varied workforce.
  • Stakeholder management experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of management and behavioral development, as well as 1:1 development plans.
