Cathedral Appointments are seeking an experienced IT support professional to provide 1st, 2nd and occasionally 3rd line support across multiple sites in South Devon. The successful candidate will be primarily based in Dartmouth, with regular travel to the other sites when needed. 

IT Support Technician responsibilities include...

  • Provide efficient IT support and training to staff as required
  • Log all technical support calls clearly and concisely
  • Support a wide range of infrastructure, including Internet Connectivity, Routers, Firewalls, Switches, Microsoft Desktops, Microsoft Servers, Active Directory, Exchange Server, Hyper-V, Anti-Virus, Mobile Devices, Remote user access – VPN/Direct Access, Remote Desktop Services, Office365, Google Apps
  • Work independently and act as the “go to” for all IT queries

IT Support Technician requirements include...

  • Experience in a similar IT support position
  • Technical knowledge of server/switch room installation & configuration
  • Experience administrating and trouble-shooting wireless networks
  • Working knowledge of Office365 and Exchange
  • Comfortable working with Active Directory
  • Full UK driving license and own car is ESSENTIAL
