This is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting high growth business. Due to this on-going growth, our client is now looking for an IT Support Technician to join their busy office. The key purpose of the role is to provide comprehensive IT support to all internal staff and work with external suppliers to develop and implement new IT solutions.

IT Support Technician responsibilities include...

  • Carrying out user account management in an Office 365 environment
  • Providing first line help-desk support for all employees
  • Hardware troubleshooting and support for all employee laptops & mobile devices
  • Managing and troubleshooting a SharePoint environment
  • Logging support calls with third party suppliers and developers and following through to resolution
  • Assisting the IT & Systems Manager in the implementation of the Security Policy
  • Assisting the IT & Systems Manager in ensuring the smooth running of all IT systems, including anti-virus software, print and email provision
  • Ensuring that software licensing laws are adhered to
  • Supporting remote users in accessing resources
  • Assisting the IT & Systems Manager in providing a securing network environment, from both internal and external attack
  • Undertake basic network troubleshooting and maintenance, in a largely wireless network
  • Keeping up to date with the latest technologies

IT Support Technician requirements include...

Our client is looking for an experienced IT professional who can display hands on experience of installing both IT hardware and software as well as experience within a previous help-desk/support role. Practical working knowledge of Cloud based systems, in particular SharePoint/Office365 would be advantageous as would a recognised IT certification or A-level.
